For many men suffering from hair loss, they are directed toward surgery as a solution by doctors.
Sometimes this is not a good solution and in fact, most of the time for women surgery is not the best option. When it comes to men, surgery is often recommended, but it’s not always the best idea.
For those who have been told that surgery is their only option, please consider other options.
Before you go down the path of a painful surgery, that may or may not deal with the real underlying problem ofhair loss, take a step back.
“The causes of hair loss are many, and surgery doesn’t often deal with many of the underlying issues, which can include things like diet lifestyle, toxicity, scalp calcification and fibrosis, internal and scalp inflammation, as well as DHT overproduction” says trichologist, collagen restoration therapist, author and trainer, Misti Barnes, of St. Petersburg, Florida.
Barnes treats hair loss with the most powerful plant derived peptides, growth factors, and amino acids all of which target the potential causes of hair loss.
“DHT is a component of the problem but the entire reason forhair loss. However, surgery does not address most of the problems,” says Barnes. “…it merely takes hair from one part of the body and moving it to another part of the scalp, but if the underlying problems are not dealt with the surgery will not be beneficial long-term.”
In fact, most people who have hair surgery or FUE, will need another surgery within seven years, because that is a long length of the anagen hair growth phase, and the results are not long lasting.
